Helena Studs are the cutest options for day to day wearability. The heart symbol is linked to romantic love, sentimentality and passion. The Ancient Egyptians believed the physical organ, which they called haty, was different to the metaphysical heart. The metaphysical heart was the source of wisdom, memories and thought, not the brain. During mummification, the heart was left in the body and protected by a valuable heart scarab, as an important key to entering the afterlife.

These studs are 100% recycled sterling silver, and individually handcrafted by artisans in Indonesia. Every piece is wholesomely made with love and care, none are the same having unique variations due to the nature of slow production methods.

  • Natural gemstones require gentle handling. Avoid knocks, drops, or impact with hard surfaces to help prevent damage.
  • Store each piece separately in an airtight jewellery pouch or container to minimise tarnishing and prevent scratches.
  • Store necklaces flat or hanging to help avoid tangling and kinking.
  • Handle your jewellery with care. Gold vermeil features a thick layer of 18K gold over sterling silver and, while highly durable, benefits from mindful wear.
