Founded by Creative and Designer Michelle Pick on the Gold Coast. The label Soleil D’or meaning Golden Sun draws inspiration from sun and sea, minimalist art and ancient culture. Soleil Dór Collective ingrains every piece in richness of experience elevating women’s empowerment.

Taking a moment to slow down mid global pandemic, the label Soleil D’or Collective was born by a vision to create quality, handcrafted jewellery using only recycled and natural materials in small batches for a more sustainable future. Our thoughtful and soulful approach to designing pieces focusing on seasonal longevity and conscious consumption.

With 2 small children as a young family it was extremely important to find small family run businesses and responsible partners to work with whom are mindful of ethical practices, fair wages, and safe working conditions for all workers. Our approach is centered around sustainability, transparency, exclusivity and mutual respect.

Each Soleil D’or Collective co-creation is imbued with the authentic richness of the cultures behind every material, stone, and craft. Supporting local artisans and thereby preserving their traditional craft and cultural heritage is an important part of why and how we make a difference in the future. Very much a Nomadic lifestyle brand with intention of creating wearable pieces of art for everyday wear yet timeless wear-ability.

We choose to work with artisans from marginalised communities in remote locations. We endeavour to offer our authentic handmade creations to you and raise awareness around small batch production & ethical manufacturing practices. It gives us comfort that every piece of jewellery purchased is making a difference by helping our artisan families provide an abundant life for their family and loved ones.

Ways we can support our artisan families is by releasing one product at a time when it is complete. This ensures that they are not overworked and pushed to complete a huge quantity of labour all at once, with unrealistic hours and timelines. The workers have the ability and freedom to manage their hours, giving flexibility for all whilst guaranteeing regular and continuous work. We are proud to practice slow fashion.
